The Gold coast is close to downtown Chicago and therefore an easy commute to work. Chicago’s Gold Coast has a rich history and origin. After the Great Chicago Fire, millionaire Potter palmer moved to the area.
He filled in a swampy area (now Lake Shore Drive) and built the Palmer Mansion. The Palmer Mansion was a 42 room castle. After Palmer many other wealthy Chicagoans moved to the area, making it the richest area of Chicago.

For any major city, prices are always higher than average. I lived in the southern part of the country for many years, and the cost of living was extremely affordable. I was able to easily pay for my necessary expenses, and I have plenty of money to put towards my retirement. I recently moved to the Midwest because of a job relocation.
I did not receive a raise in my salary, but I expected my cost of living to be the same. I was surprised when I found that chicago realty was worth almost twice as much as my old home. This would be for the same size house, which is outside of the city limits. I expected Chicago condominiums to be more expensive, but I never thought that it would be twice as expensive.
To make matters worse, my cost of living expenses were also significantly higher. With no raise in my annual salary, I needed to find a lower priced home. I had hoped that I could have a home the same size as my previous house, but it looked like that was no longer an option.
I decided to find a realtor and see if they could help me find a new home that was affordable. I was not sure how large of a home I would be able to afford, but I did know my max purchase value.
Because I knew the most I was willing to spend, my agent could help me find a home that met my needs. There were numerous types of homes available, so my agent asked me various questions about the location, property type, and amenities that I would want with my new homes.
Using this information, he would be able to gather a detailed list of the kind of home I wanted. He was also able to recommend various different locations for me to possibly live in.
This made the search process much easier. In less than an hour, my agent was able to more than I had performed in two weeks. This was incredible. My agent used the information that we gathered to set up visits for the next day. We went on multiple visits over the next three days until I found my piece of chicago realty that seemed perfect for me.
Knowing my max number, my agent was able to negotiate an amazing closing price, and he assisted with finding a moving company for me. This was a great company to work with, and I have recommended that my friends use them for any of their needs.

With the way the real estate market has been moving, you have to be ready to make a move on a moment’s notice. In an ideal world, you would be the only buyer, so the sale price would be right where you want it and lower than expected.
Sadly, this is not an ideal world, but there is still an opportunity to receive great deals on real estate. This was a great experience, and I have already recommended my agent to two different families because of the great service I received.
