One of your main points of consideration when you move to Chicago with a family should be a sense of peace and security.  Never move to a neighborhood that isn’t known for having an excellent safety record if you know that you could potentially put your kids at risk. Furthermore, by staying in River North apartments, you’ll know that you are right next to some excellent entertainment for the entire family because you’ll be in close proximity to Lake Michigan.  You won’t have to go to much trouble whatsoever if your kids would like to spend an entire day at the beach.  Just pack up a few of their favorite toys, grab some sunscreen, and head over to the shore for a day out in the sun while you all get the exercise you need.

You also should live in River North because most of the streets are well lit and they’re also lined with some great shops and restaurants that are suitable for the whole family.  It shouldn’t require much effort on your part if your and your family would like to spend a night out going to dinner or catching a live show.  Rather, you can just walk around your neighborhood without feeling threatened in the least.  You never should have second thoughts if your kids have requested a late night trip to an ice cream parlor just because you aren’t sure whether or not it’s a smart idea to walk around.
